Meet Our Fertility Specialists

Texas Fertility Center San Antonio is proud to welcome our newest fertility specialist, Erika Munch, MD

Erika Munch, MD, FACOG, is the newest fertility specialist to join Texas Fertility Center San Antonio.

Munch, Erika7Dr. Munch will treat patients struggling with infertility, focusing on “promoting healthy pregnancies and healthy lifestyle choices and treatment decisions.” She also plans to perform minimally invasive fertility surgery.

According to Dr. Munch, “I want to make sure that my patients are well-informed about all of their treatment options, and that they are part of the treatment plan from the very beginning.” Patients at our San Antonio fertility center will benefit from Dr. Munch’s experience and strong commitment to patient care.

Dr. Munch received a first-class education in her beloved home state of Texas before seeking out additional sub-specialty training

Dr. Munch considers Texas her home state, having moved here when she was 10 years old. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Southwestern University and earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Munch then earned a certificate from the University of Texas School of Public Health.

She remained in Texas to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. Then, she traveled to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Today, Dr. Munch joins our San Antonio fertility center as a physician who is board certified in obstetrics and Gynecology board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and she has completed an ABOG fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Dr. Munch is happy to return to her home state to provide world-class fertility care

For Dr. Munch, the best part of joining our San Antonio fertility center is returning to her home state “to provide great care to the families of Central Texas.”

When Dr. Munch isn’t helping her patients become parents, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and enjoying the Texas Hill Country.
